Command Line Arguments

Command line arguments are available; most are only applicable to Maestro operation.  

The -CF option is available for all versions that support Configurations. See Product Levels for more information.

MaxIm DL REST Client/Server Parameters:

 --port or -P [port] (required):

        Set the port for this client or server

 --hostname or -H [Hostname/IP]:

        Set the hostname for this client or server

Server Parameters:

 --server -S [Server name] (required):

        Mark this instance of MaxIm DL as a server and set the server name

Client Parameters:

 --client or -C [Client name] (required):

        Mark this instance of MaxIm DL as a client and set the client name

 --serverport or -SP [Server port] (required):

        Set the server port when launching a client

 --serverhostname or -SH [Server Hostname/IP]:

        Set the server hostname when launching a client

 --Configuration or -CF [Configuration name]:

        Open a MaxIm DL REST client with an existing configuration
