Diffraction Limited Ends Stellar Year with Appointment of Colin Haig as Director of Marketing
Senior Leader to Expand Universe for Astronomy, Life Sciences, and Laboratory Imaging Solutions
OTTAWA, Ontario (December 21, 2018) – Diffraction Limited, a leader in scientific imaging solutions for physical and life sciences, is proud to announce Colin A. Haig as the new Director of Marketing. He will lead the efforts to better serve our customers and accelerate business expansion through our global network of resellers and original equipment manufacturers.
Mr. Haig has over twenty-five years experience as a senior executive at companies including SAP, Triversity, and Lucent (now Nokia). A recognized thought-leader and adviser for the retail industry, he held senior roles in business development, marketing, product management and value engineering.
Colin’s passion for astronomy and science education is reflected in his commitment to inspire people to enjoy and protect the night sky. He is the past President of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and serves on the board of directors for the RASC and SkyNews magazine. Mr. Haig has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Systems (summa cum laude), an M.Sc. in Computation from McMaster University, and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
