As part of our commitment to quality, we completed the accreditation process for the latest ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management standard. This involves regular audits by BSI Group (a division of the British Standards Institution), as well as periodic internal auditing. This ensures not only that we meet the basic requirements of the standard, but also that we engage in a process of continuous improvement, monitoring, and quality management.

Quality Management applies to all our business processes, from customer engagement and service, to order processing, engineering, manufacturing, product quality assurance, and fulfillment. It also focuses on customer feedback: in the coming months, you may be asked to answer an online Customer Survey to give us a bit of feedback, and we encourage you to participate.

You may know we made changes to some of our products to improve their quality and to validate the work done by our suppliers of optical, electronic, and other components. Together, we continue to work hard to reduce and eliminate harmful substances and to ensure quality in our supply chain. Further, we comply with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC) and REACH (EC 1907/2006) standards concerning chemicals and hazardous substances. We also ensure that all the component parts we use meet Conflict Minerals regulations.

Our team does more than working to tick a box. We see it as an ongoing journey, subject to external audit, that helps ensure Diffraction Limited will continue to bring you better, safer imaging solutions that set the benchmark for quality.
