Physicists, optical experts, astronomers, and experimental scientists in many fields use Diffraction Limited’s line of SBIG cameras to achieve their professional goals. Our cameras have been used to evaluate atmospheric conditions around the globe; to test the optical systems for space telescopes; to validate the optical performance and illumination of flat panel displays; to hunt for large scale structure of the universe; and in custom instrumentation on an optical bench.

Many people fondly recall using a modest SBIG camera in their undergraduate labs and observatories, and then go on to design state-of-the-art experiments or instrumentation using today’s latest SBIG imaging solutions as part of a PhD thesis or post-doc position. We also offer custom and collaboratively developed imaging solutions.
